Get Involved
MasterChange is currently no more than an interactive demo but the potential is enormous. To get there we are looking for great people and investors. If you want to be part of what has the potential to be life changing for so many people, get in touch.
To date, MasterChange has been funded through the founder, Nick Abelson. The time has now come to seek external investment. This would be welcome either as sweat equity, payment in kind or straight funding. This is a UK business, yet to be incorporated, so that when the time comes we qualify for SEIS.
Key RolesBusiness Development (£45,000/year; £85,000 OTE)
The face of the business. Nick knows there are much better sales people out there then him. At heart he is a tecchie, an organiser and strategist. He doesn't sell. Someone is needed to work with customers/sponsors/government and grow the revenue streams. Ideally we are looking for a major investor who would want to either take this role, themselves or else place someone in this role
Graphic Design (£30,000/year or equivalent budget)
Whilst it is amazing how much can be done with free graphics through searching online resources, much of what has been used is little better than the video game equivalent of clipart. If you are a graphic designer who likes what we are doing and want to work for sweat equity we would be delighted to hear from you. Alternatively we are looking for funds to either employ a graphic designer or else buy some high quality graphics to replace what we are using to date.
Unity Developer (£45,000/year)
The prototype just touches the surface of what is possible. As well as the 3D video we want to create in-world experiences beyond what is currently on offer. A senior developer with knowledge of MySQL, PHP, C# and Unity3D is required to take the world up a notch.
3D modeller/artist (£30,000/year or equivalent budget)
Conceptualise and create the 3d objects needed to bring the experience to life; engaging experiences that adhere to our matrix of behavioural change techniques. Assets for both The World of MasterChange and to create 360 degree fly throughs of e.g what happens when you smoke a cigarette, from the perspective of the smoke
Social Media/PR (£30,000/year or equivalent budget)
Source and create engaging content around behaviour change. Casting a wide net, writing about life hacks to achieve goals, links to interesting talks, tools available to e.g. give up smoking, speaking to people battling with e.g. COPD. As well as Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, building relationships with lifestyle magazines, talk shows, experts, charities and foundations to get the word out, placing MasterChange as the new frontier in beating preventative diseaseApp Tester (£22,000)
Cross platform testing; iPhone and Android with different Google Cardboard headsets. Build test scripts and execute. Collate feedback from users and prioritise new functionality and content. Manage JIRA
Web Developer (£35,000)
Clearly this asset needs some work - intergration with MasterChange APIs to allow registration on website, updating details etc. Currently built with Joomla but not wedded to the platform
Graphic Designer (£25,000)
Web site design, creation of memes for social channels, design of 2d forms within MasterChange app
Storyteller and Content Creator (£45,000)
At the micro level, MasterChange needs snippets of content to power billboards, notices etc. As well as 3d video and CGI there is a need to populate the app with small pieces of digestable information relevant to individual's goals. Each piece of content will need tagging so it appears to the right person and the correct time
At the macro level, someone who is going to think about the entire MasterChange world and how we can help people change behaviours. We have in house expertise around behaviour change but we need some imaginative souls to interweave these concepts with engaging content. To create scripts and the treatments needed to turn these ideas into reality
Covering everything from smoking cessation and weight loss, to mindfulness and financial management, this is a world aimed at helping people stop bad habits and start good ones. Can you help us to make it zing?
Equipment (£10,000)
The current process is to rent the cameras we need to shoot content. In the future we would like to be able to send these cameras to content creators so they can film their segments. It would also be helpful to have equipment for our in house team.
Test phones to check the experience across a wide range of devices, headsets and R&D into the more expensive Vive and Oculus equipment
